My developmental editing package will provide you with an in-depth analysis of your novel. I will focus on any plot holes, pacing concerns, character issues, and more. Then, I will write up a detailed analysis, providing suggestions and comments on your story.
- New clients: $0.038 per word or $38 per 1,000 words.
- Existing/former clients: $0.036 per word or $36 per 1,000 words.
This package always includes one round of developmental editing and two rounds of copy and line editing. A contract will be drawn up between both parties, with a 40% deposit required at the time of signing. The deposit can be lower if you choose to set up a payment plan.
The rest of the balance will be due once I have finished the first round of edits unless a payment plan is in place. Payment plans can be customized to your exact needs, and you won’t be required to finish the plan before all edits are finished.
